What is THE CREATIVE IMPULSE?
The creative impulse is a program within J.Diane Creations, creative events business. The Creative Impulse program is a unique studio designed for instructed and self-led art and craft experiences. The workshops are perfect for everyday creative outings, celebrations and team-building. Classes are instructed by a collective of local artists and makers from the Omaha community.

Meet the director
JENNIFER YOUNG
Jennifer Young believes that creativity is meant for everyone. She has been creating for as long as she can remember. Jennifer started out as a wedding planner and designer and now specialize in art and handmade crafts. She enjoyed creating so much that she decided to teach others through DIY workshops. Originally from Omaha, Jennifer has her undergrad from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her line of greeting cards and art stems from the desire to spread kindness and build up the value of others. Jennifer is often inspired by nature and the power of words.
What is the 402 Arts Collective?
The 402 Arts Collective is a non-profit organization comprised of artists, musicians, and creatives who are on a mission to change lives and change the their community for the better. They do this by offering the community impactful, trustworthy and excellent connection points to education programs and mentoring opportunities. The 402 Acting Academy is one such program that is a result of the members of the 402 Arts Collective working together to invest in artists of the next generation.
