Unlock the art of "drawing with yarn" in this hands-on tapestry crochet workshop! Learn how to carry multiple skeins seamlessly through your rows to create clean color changes and intricate designs. Guided by instructor Zaleski, you will practice carrying yarn, working from a written pattern to build a finished design, and organizing your working threads to avoid tangles.
Skill Level & Prerequisites This intermediate/beginner workshop is best suited for makers who are comfortable with:
Creating foundation chains
Working single crochet (SC) stitches
Counting stitches and rows accurately

As an interdisciplinary artist, Zi is constantly pushing to cultivate a more sustainable art practice. She utilizes primarily found and repurposed materials to create in a variety of media, including paint, crochet and textiles, illustration, found object work, ceramics, and beyond. To create art in communion with Mother Earth requires and cultivates playfulness, humility, and patience; these tools allow them to contribute to the many unending dialogues within herself and the world around her.
